Alex, Justin and Max discover that a famous author is using their lives as the premise for her best-selling novels named Charmed and Dangerous. However, the wizards are shocked learning that she is actually Harper from the future. The Future Harper insists Justin that he must get Alex to give Harper permission to write the books, otherwise the future will be ruined. In the end of the episode, Selena Gomez and Rob Reiner comically talk about the importance of reading.
